As we are hastily approaching November 11, Veterans Day, I’d like to thank each and everyone of you for your service.
We as Veterans, as some of you may already know, are able to buy back our service time. What that means is the time the we have served in the military would be added on towards our retirement. The biggest thing that I will suggest to each and everyone of you please start the process of buying back your time today.
As a FERS or CSRS, if you complete your deposit prior to your three years of service you can buy back your time interest free. You must complete buying your time back prior to completing your service with the USPS to get your years credited. I have posted a few links below which may better assist you in this process.
